The country of Spain, or kingdom of Spain, is located in the southwest corner of Europe and it is one of the two countries that make up the Iberian Peninsula. The country can experience three types of climate: oceanic, Mediterranean and semiarid. Some other climates can show up in smaller places in the country. Those other possibilities include alpine climate, subtropical and Sierra Nevada. The Spain weather that you find will depend on the time of year and the location where you are going. Spain also includes a few islands including the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa. The southeast of the country can experience semiarid climate and temperatures. Finally oceanic climate is on the north of the country and Mediterranean to the south.
